Exercise

Rope Triceps Pushdown

An elbow-extension movement used to train the triceps while the upper arm stays relatively stable.

Technique

01

Let the rope ends separate naturally without losing elbow position.

02

Set the upper arm in the position required by the variation.

03

Keep the torso stable instead of using body momentum.

04

Extend the elbow until the triceps are fully shortened.

05

Finish the rep without forcing the joint past a comfortable lockout.

06

Return under control while keeping tension on the triceps.
