Straight-Arm Pulldown

A cable shoulder-extension exercise used to load the lats with minimal elbow movement.

Technique

Set the torso and ribs before starting the pull.

Keep a soft but nearly fixed elbow angle.

Pull the handle or rope toward the thighs by moving at the shoulder.

Contract the lats without leaning back for extra range.

05

Return slowly until the shoulders are comfortably stretched.
